How the plan works

Humana's Group Medicare PDP 105 provides extensive coverage throughout the year:

• The plan has no annual deductible
  
  
• Members have low copayments for covered drugs until drug costs paid by both the member and the plan reach $2,400
  
  
• After their prescription costs reach $2,400, members enter the "coverage gap" – members continue to pay their predetermined copayment for preferred generics and 100 percent for all other drugs until their total out-of-pocket spending reaches $3,850
  
  
• After total out-of-pocket spending reaches $3,850, Humana pays 95 percent for covered drugs and members pay 5 percent
